Our First big quilt delivery!

Today marks a first of many more to come! I am so grateful to all our volunteers who helped make this delivery possible! I am proud to be able to say we delivered 62 quilts ( 50 child sized and 12 preemie quilts) along with two hospital bed saddlebags and a walker bag to Childrens Hospital in Omaha. Donna at the hospital was so appreciative and thought the quilts were just gorgeous!

All the quilts ready to load up to go!

Here they are all loaded in the back of the car to go!

At the reception desk

Here's the two hospital bed saddlebags, these are for patients to hang over the bed rails to put items like coloring books and things in

And the walker bag!

Another Box came from Kathy K.

LQFK's received another box full of beautiful quilts from Kathy K. The first one is made from a kit we sent her, and the rest are all made from her personal fabric stash. She sent them to Kristen to quilt, then she did the binding on them all. Her heart and love of sewing is bigger than the state of Texas! Thanks so much Kathy!

I apologize for the bad pictures of the next ones, my camera batteries were getting low, and didn't have any spare ones at the moment. But didn't realize how bad the pics were until I had already transferred them from my camera. And I'm really not sure what that smudge is right in the middle of all of them. So sorry!
